Here’s how much it’s going to cost you to run background checks on Sittercity. If you opt to run the Basic Background Check on the sitter, you pay $15.
A more detailed background check, called Enhanced Background Check goes for $60. The Motor Vehicle Records Check costs $30.
To save a couple of bucks, you can run the Enhanced Plus or the Basic Plus. The Enhanced Plus combines the Enhanced Background Check with Motor Vehicle Records Check. This costs $80.
On the other hand, the Basic Plus combines the Basic Background Check with Motor Vehicle Records Check. This costs $35.

Hence, there is no way you can communicate with them directly outside Sittercity.
Now, if you have access to the Message tab, you won’t have a hard time communicating with any of the sitters. If you want to hire the same sitter over and over again, you can always use it to contact her. That’s how easy it will be for you to communicate with your favorite sitters on Sittercity.

One thing is for sure. It costs to join Sittercity as a paid subscriber. Is it worth it? Of course, it is since you get the guarantee of safety.
