It’s amazing how many sitters are listed on Sittercity. It really does take a lot of work to find someone I like but I like that I have a lot of sitters to choose from.
It does get overwhelming to go over the profiles of the sitters since there are a lot. Posting a job seems to be more convenient, at least for me, since it gives them the chance to reply to an offer they can look into in their free time. Surely, there are sitters who are also looking for jobs. So instead of me looking out for them, they can look out for my offer instead. Saves me a lot of time.

It’s very easy. My recommendation is that you do this all the time time. There are some parents who are satisfied with the badges they see on the sitter’s profile. Those badges shouldn’t be enough for you.
I’ve only been with Sittercity a couple of days. So it’s my first time to use it and so far I haven’t had a hard time with it. I haven’t posted a job though. Instead, I go over the profiles of the sitters and send messages to the ones I think are okay. I’ve had some responses. I just need to screen them more.
