It has been said over and over again that parenting is not at all an easy job. There will always be days when things get really crazy. But of course, giving up is never an option.

As a parent, I know this quite well. I sure get a lot of days when things just pile up one after the other and I always feel like I have to catch up. I am always stressed that I cannot get the job done. But in spite that, I do my best not to panic! Also read: How to look for the perfect sitter
During those crazy days, I find myself taking a time out. I try to do something I really enjoy like listening to music. Amidst the craziness around me, I try to take some time to get my favorite music playing in the background. It really takes out at the stress and eases the panic attack.ย Somehow, listening to my kind of music has a soothing effect on me. I end up singing a tune and having a smile on my face. In spite of the fact that I cannot seem to carry a decent tune, the sound of music just does some wonders for me.
๐ค What's The Real Scoop On Sittercity? This Is What We Found Out
I have set-up a small corner in my bedroom for this particular purpose. When the kids are screaming, fighting, and begging for attention all at the same time; I stop everything and declare a time out. My time out is a 15-minute reprieve to my corner where I enjoy my music. I like instrumental music, I think we will all agree that less talk is better, but if you like rock or pop, go ahead and play it. Whatever works to calm your nerves and recharge you a bit, is perfectly fine. Ultimately, music is therapeutic. If it will get you though the day, what harm is there in it?
